Castlemaine Rotary President Kerry Anderson and Mt Alexander Community Enterprise (MtACE) Acting President Robyn Lewis recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organisations.
The aim is to work collaboratively to strategically create positive impact for our community through the distribution of funds. A cheque for $10,000 was presented to Castlemaine Rotary and the Castlemaine Billy Cart Challenge also received $1,000. MtACE is is a voluntary not-for-profit group fundraising for local projects, funded through the Bendigo Bank and Bendigo Telco. Everyone who uses these services and asks to link their accounts with Mt ACE, at NO cost to customers, will help raise funds for our community.
Castlemaine Rotary’s Immediate Past President Grant Thomas and current President Kerry Anderson will serve on MtACE’s Board. With the sad loss recently of Larry O’Toole, who was a major driver of this initiative, Kerry has taken on the role of Chair.
