With the Castlemaine Rotary Truck Show done and dusted, focus now turns to Carols in the Park.
Bring a picnic rug or chairs. Castlemaine Lions will be operating their fabulous BBQ to whet your appetite.
Lots of Xmas music and Carols and a special appearance by a certain someone! 
And Castlemaine Rotary and Mount Alexander Community Enterprise will be announcing their annual community grants.

Castlemaine Rotary President Kerry Anderson and Mt Alexander Community Enterprise (MtACE) Acting President Robyn Lewis recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organisations.
The aim is to work collaboratively to strategically create positive impact for our community through the distribution of funds. A cheque for $10,000 was presented to Castlemaine Rotary and the Castlemaine Billy Cart Challenge also received $1,000. MtACE is is a voluntary not-for-profit group fundraising for local projects, funded through the Bendigo Bank and Bendigo Telco. Everyone who uses these services and asks to link their accounts with Mt ACE, at NO cost to customers, will help raise funds for our community.
Castlemaine Rotary’s Immediate Past President Grant Thomas and current President Kerry Anderson will serve on MtACE’s Board. With the sad loss recently of Larry O’Toole, who was a major driver of this initiative, Kerry has taken on the role of Chair.
Castlemaine Rotary is proud to be partnering with Mount Alexander Shire Council as the Award Sponsor of the Inclusive and Diverse category in the 2023 Mount Alexander Business Awards.
The awards showcase business excellence within the shire, and publicly acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of local businesses. Any business in the Mount Alexander Shire is eligible to enter.
