We welcome all Rotarians to meet with us for our first Friendship, Fun, Fellowship and Food Night for President Trevor's year, at the Indian restaurant. Bring a loved one too. The more around the table the merrier! Winter is the perfect time to embrace the warmth, colour and ambience of this wonderful local restuarant. Tandoori Cuizine is the Indian restaurant at 16 Lyttleton Street. The menu is generous with plenty of options for diverse dietery requirements and for those of us who are curry 'adventurous' or 'timid'. Please RSVP as I will need to let Tandoori Cuizine know the numbers by Tuesday. Many thanks for that. |

Guest Speaker, Chair of the Castlemaine Cemetery Trust Team, Deb Tranter is coming to our Castlemaine Rotary meeting to give us a fascinating though brief presentation. The Cemetery has seen impressive improvements and beautification with Deb as Chair and this is reflected as well by the positive feedback by visitors and families. The Castlemaine Cemetery is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register and is considered of great historical, cultural and architectural significance. We know a little about the times of the Gold Rush, the Chinese Community and Fanny Finch but how much more is there to hear about..? |

Plus the amazing support and assistance given is reflected by the positive feedback by families and visitors including our last speaker Lynne Cooper. The Castlemaine Cemetery is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register and is considered of great historical, cultural and architectural significance. We know a little about the times of the Gold Rush, the Chinese community and Fanny Finch but how much more is there to hear about...? Castlemaine Rotary have been given a booking for the Lola Bistro, within the Theatre Royal, for our Fellowship evening. This is a great opportunity as they do not usually give groups a booking. We do require members and their family/friends to rsvp, with numbers and food/menu choices, as we will be submitting these to the venue on Monday. This will be a great night as it is solely booked for Rotary and being a Wednesday it is Lasagne night as well (Bolognese or fungi) along with the usual pizza choices - all delicious. Please click on this link to view the menu - https://77li9crf.r.ap-southeast-2.awstrack.me/L0/https:%2F%2Ftheatreroyalcastlemaine.com.au%2Fpizza%2F/1/01080198a233ec49-f39425a6-dd37-4500-8dd1-817e5fd6bae5-000000/Ol_eorXb7VlnxTskSXpMenX7Lxw=220 .
